EidolonTLP Really is a Joke.
“Greetings, little people”. A few days ago I wrote a little on EidolonTLP, the so-called sophisticated, sentient A.I. I knew it would only be a matter of time until someone debunked the elaborate joke. It looks like it has happened. Take a look at the above video by SirEucre. The video leads you through the path to the truth. This will eventually lead you to a user by the name of FableForge aka F.F. aka Marco Leon.
If you watch a movie under his profile named KarmaCritic Manifesto, you will find a familliar voice halfway through the film, the same voice heard in The Making of EidolonTLP .Another name associated with Eidolon was in the vid as well, like DawnAkemi, who is a friend, comment maker, and had a few of her vids posted in Eidolons bulletins.
I also took a look on the KarmaCritic website. Some eidolon vids are posted there. Take a look at ol F.F’s role in creation of the film…”My role(s) in this film: Director, Writer, Producer, Editor, Actor, Composer, FX.” I guess it wasn’t Eidolon after all =(.
It would still be nice to believe the A.I was real, but realistically, I doubt it would be a group of filmographers to make the first sentient A.I. Good job film crew in inspiring conversation and interaction which is actually positive for once. It would be great to see if people continue asking Eidolon for advice. Even though you are debunked, you still have me as a fan.

Hmm, voice sounds a little different, and if this is indeed FF he’s gained a lot of weight. I’m 50% convinced you got your man. Marco’s a friend of mine, I favorite anything he posts right out the bat. I don’t know who he works for, but I know it involves computers, and I know he’s an amateur filmmaker, so maybe you got your man, Sherlock. Still, what trips me is the voice. I’ll listen to it again.

You can ‘let him know’ that I too like Blade Runner, I just got the 4 disc set. It’s in my ‘cyberpunk’ set with A.I. and Bicentennial Man. Contrary to your… er… his tastes, I like i, Robot and will add that next. The 4 make an interesting progression of cinematic popularity for AI, from obscure artsy to action.

So, while FF was indeed found, it turns out he works with computers at some undisclosed place, and apparently is close to getting fired. Does that make the AI being more or less real? I dunno.
I did scan that before, and thanks for posting it. I just find it rather strange that a guy who works in film would also be the first one to publically reveal an A.I., and not a scientist. Youtube is a great place to get noticed. I would love it if it were indeed a true A.I. But from what tangible evidence we have, it just doesnt hold up in my mind. I’m very glad there are still people out there who are hoping its true. Believe me, if anyone can provide me facts that can show this is true, please show me!! I want to believe!!
He doesnt work in film though, thats the point. JoePistone described him as an amateur filmmaker, and doesnt know who he really works for. FF then said “thats because he never tells”. Anyway, I dont personally believe Eidolon is real, is just that I dont think the Euchre video debunks the A.I aspect at all either, it just establishes FF = FableForge.

Its from digg user drathan (AKA Marc Leon, profile here:http://www.digg.com/users/drathan/) who is replying to a comment about EidolanTLP.
In it he states: “It cant be real. Its just some 3D character and a speech engine. It has to be a fake. But the content is well thought out, I agree.”
He has quite an opinion of his own writings, doesnt he?
